Why are there so many free offers online and they are real or just scams?
This is a great question, many of these are very real, just like this one that offers a free Home Depot Gift Card to you in exchange of you submitting your email address and a survey for their company. The reason for doing this is twofold.
First, by giving them your e-mail are added to a huge list of email that can be used to send advertising messages, they getpaid of course, and offers surveys and free stuff. Secondly, it will ask you to fill out a survey or two, depending on the offer, and can use the information they receive from such an investigation and compile it and then sell it to advertising Firms and large companies seeking to research things on people want, you do not like or dislike, what they are off, and so on and so forth.
These companies make a lot of money by selling the results of investigations and alsomoney just by using the e-mail list that is built through these offerings. It 's like when you buy something in a store such as Barnes and Noble and They try to get you to sign up for a special card, the only reason why I am doing this is to get your email address and can sell to you later on after you walked out of the store, and also be able to track spending habits, so they can use that data later on too.
I made tons of these investigations and have got a lot of free stuff, mostly the gift cards to various restaurants and chains. It is quite easy to do and usually takes about 10-20 minutes depending on if you really put any thought into the questions, I do because they're giving me something in return HeLPS keep my conscience clear.
I use a disposable email address from Yahoo so you do not have a lot of publicity in my real email though. Check it out, fill out a survey and get your free Home Depot> Gift card and decide for yourself if it's worth it or not, much to lose even though in my opinion.
